No one likes to wait. The gaps of life remind us that we’re not in control of our lives. Waiting is uncomfortable and hard, so it’s tempting to resist it. However, the Bible both commends and commands waiting. To wait on the Lord is a hallmark of faithful discipleship. It’s an opportunity to lean on him in the gaps of life and learn how to trust in new and profound ways.
In this conversation recorded at TGCW26, Mark Vroegop and Betsy Childs Howard discuss how to wait and employ strategies of spiritual growth in seasons of uncertainty.
