EXCITING APP UPDATE
You can now watch the Sunday worship livestream featuring Alistair Begg in the Truth For Life mobile app. This feature is available when you update the app on your Apple or Android device to the 6.3 release. Along with this enhancement, you’ll receive a reminder notice one hour before the livestream begins.
Also, you can cast the livestream using Airplay (iOS) or Chromecast (Android) by tapping the standard casting buttons within the video player once the stream begins.
HOW IT WORKS
Each Sunday when Alistair is preaching, you’ll see a yellow livestream button display on the app main screens, including the Explore screen, at approximately 8:45 a.m. eastern. When the service begins at 9:45 a.m. eastern, the livestream button will turn red to indicate the stream is beginning. You can then tap the button to open the media player within the app. There, you’ll also see a Screencast button within the player. Simply tap it to begin casting the video to your smart TV or other device.
NOTIFICATIONS
There are two helpful ways to be notified of upcoming livestreams: in the app, or by email.
To receive app notifications one hour before the livestream, be sure to have your app settings toggled to accept notifications. You can do this by going to My Account, selecting Settings, then selecting Notifications, then sliding the notification option to On.
To receive email notifications one day before the livestream, sign up at www.truthforlife.org/live.
