Florida: Vote NO on Abortion Amendment 4

Next week Florida voters will decide whether to create an unrestricted “right” to abortion in their state constitution.

Focus on the Family is urging all our friends in Florida to protect life this November and vote “NO” on Amendment 4.

Amendment 4 would change the Florida Constitution to say:

“No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider.”

Amendment 4 is radical and extreme. It would:

Ban parental consent before a minor gets an abortion.

Allow abortions in the seventh, eighth and ninth months of pregnancy — far beyond when science says the baby is capable of feeling pain.

Force taxpayers to pay for abortions.

Focus on the Family strongly opposes this dangerous amendment.

Vote No on 4, the campaign to defeat Amendment 4, created this advertisement now targeting voters in Florida:

If this amendment becomes law, it will lead to the loss of over 50,000 preborn babies every year to abortion in Florida.

The abortion lobby has already raised nearly $110 million to pass Amendment 4 compared to the pro-life organizations that have raised about $10 million.

All Floridians of goodwill must vote to defeat this deceptive and extreme measure.

Exit polling in the Ohio abortion amendment campaign of 2023, demonstrated that 24% of white evangelical or born-again Christians sadly supported the extreme abortion amendment. They were duped by emotive advertising. It is imperative that bible-believing, pro-life Christians vote to protect preborn babies and mothers from abortion in Florida.

Florida Family Voice, a Focus on the Family-allied state family policy council, says:

“Amendment 4 was deceptively written and funded by millions from out of state radical pro-abortion organizations such as George Soros’s Open Society Foundation, Planned Parenthood, and the ACLU.

“This dangerous amendment will allow abortions throughout the entire pregnancy, even when the baby is capable of feeling pain, and will make abortion the only medical procedure a minor can undergo without a parent’s consent.

“By allowing any so-called ‘healthcare provider’ – not just doctors – to determine fetal viability and approve late-term abortions, Amendment 4 essentially gives abortion clinics free reign to approve abortions until the moment of birth.”

This fall please vote “NO” on Amendment 4 to protect preborn babies and parental rights.

Florida’s early, in-person voting began October 26. Election Day is November 5.

Please vote to protect preborn life by voting “NO” on Amendment 4!

And remember: Vote for candidates who support life this November!
