Human Coalition President Talks Life and Hope With the ‘Daily Citizen’

The Human Coalition is one of the great pro-life organizations working to save preborn babies and mothers from abortion.

The organization “is building a pro-life, holistic, comprehensive care network to help rescue these women and their children from abortion.” It employs a multi-pronged approach to reach women who are considering abortion and encouraging them to choose life. But it doesn’t end there.

After reaching a woman through online marketing and other methods, and helping her choose life for her baby, Human Coalition deploys their “Continuum of Care” program alongside various partners to provide them with financial assistance, job training and placement, maternity housing, health care and more.

To date, the organization has rescued 21,854 children from abortion.

Human Coalition is also known for their clever stickers and t-shirts, which feature an animal, including Pandas, Eagles and Turtles, holding a “Save the Baby Humans” sign.

The Daily Citizen spoke with Jeff Bradford, President of the Human Coalition, who is the former owner and CEO of Cross Media. He built that company, growing it from four to 80 employees and growing its sales from $400K to $14 million.

Now, Bradford fights to protect preborn babies and their mothers from abortion not only for ideological reasons – but for a very personal one as well.

“Thirty years ago, my wife and I got engaged to be married. And during the engagement, we got pregnant. Even though we felt like we were Christians, we got really bad advice, and within a week we were at Planned Parenthood and took the life of our daughter,” Bradford shared.

“I will tell you, it’s the greatest regret of my entire life,” he added. “And yet, by God’s grace, I get to do this work now and try to make up for that and try and stand in the gap for other men and women who just don’t understand the deep consequences of abortion and the regret.

“You can’t take that choice back. It’s a decision that you’ll never get back.”

After the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on June 24, 2022, citizens in six states (Kansas, Michigan, Vermont, California, Montana and Kentucky) have voted on six ballot measures that either would have protected life or expanded abortion access.

In all six votes, the pro-life side lost. You can read more about the various ballot measures here.

Bradford spoke about these losses, and where he sees the pro-life movement going from here.

“One of the things we’re trying to do is educate pro-life supporters that the overturning of Roe v. Wade won a specific battle, but the war is not over,” Bradford said.

“We know that the pro-abortionists probably spent over $400 million [on the 2022 elections] … to promote the pro-abortion narrative and ballot measures. They are highly engaged and more fervent than ever.

“We’ve got to continue to educate the pro-life movement and let them know we are in a cultural battle and if we don’t continue to press the gas, we are going to lose the battle,” Bradford added.

He noted that part of winning that battle consists of continuing to care for more women who are considering abortion, along with working to protect preborn babies through the law.

“We have to show up at the ballot box and continue to support pro-life causes,” Bradford said.
