Defining hope as “the feeling that the feeling you have right now isn’t permanent,” Onwuchekwa reminded listeners of hope’s importance while also cautioning that identifying Christ as our source of hope isn’t the end of the journey. Hope assumes waiting, and we’re not great at that practice. Onwuchekwa focuses on one truth to empower and equip his listeners: God’s people will constantly be waiting, but we must not worry while we do.
