Employees at Disney World spoke with the Daily Caller saying the corporation was introducing preferred pronoun pins for employees.
Sarah Wilder, who reports on social issues for the conservative outlet, writes:
Employees at the EPCOT theme park at Walt Disney World can now fill out a form with their preferred pronouns to have them added to their name pin by scanning a QR code, according to pictures taken Nov. 5 that were provided to the Caller.
The Caller posted an image of flyers from “the custodial areas of EPCOT,” and Wilder explains that using pronoun labels is voluntary – for now, at least. The woke option “is currently being rolled out to all janitorial positions” before becoming available to all employees.
Radical gender activists and their allies believe people have an internal “gender” that can be completely unrelated to biological sexual reality, and they often demand that people use the “preferred pronouns” that coincide with their new “gender.”
When people acquiesce and use these pronouns, they collude with the lies of gender ideology and give control of the language to gender activists. This attack on the truth is also an attack on free speech and religious freedom, as government agencies, schools and businesses increasingly require the use of “preferred pronouns.”
The Walt Disney Company has long been promoting LGBT ideology and leftist public policies. Here’s a brief rundown of some of their actions over the past few years:
In 2014, Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie featured an episode where Charlie has a playdate with another little girl who happens to have two moms.
The TV channel Disney Junior, in its cartoon, Doc McStuffins, featured another family with two moms in 2017. The cartoon’s target audience was 2 to 5 year olds.
In 2019, the entertainment giant threatened to stop filming anything in Georgia, after the state legislature passed a heartbeat bill, limiting abortion to about the 6th week of pregnancy
That same year, the Disney-owned company Freeform produced a TV show, Siren, about a mermaid who lives on land – and engages in a polyamorous relationship. TV Guide’s headline blared, “Siren’s Alex Roe is Proud to Portray TV’s Most Interesting Polyamorous Relationship.”
In 2020, Pixar, owned by Disney, released the short, animated film “Out,” about a character named Greg, whose little dog Jim helps him come out as gay to his parents.
Disney Channel’s cartoon show The Owl House featured bisexual- and lesbian-identified characters that same year.
There’s more. The corporation began releasing LGBT Pride-themed merchandise with its Rainbow Disney Collection, used its program Muppet Babies to promote transgender ideology to young children, and included a lesbian kiss in its 2022 release, Lightyear.
In 2021, Disney announced an addition to its “longstanding tradition of The Four Keys – Safety, Courtesy, Show and Efficiency – which have guided our approach to guest service for more than 65 years.”
The company’s new fifth key, Inclusion, allows for “greater flexibility with respect to forms of personal expression surrounding gender-inclusive hairstyles, jewelry, nail styles, and costume choices; and allowing appropriate visible tattoos.”
This inclusivity led to the Cinderella-themed Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques to shift from “Fairy Godmothers in Training” to “Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices” – so that men in dresses and makeup could sell princess outfits to young girls.

Disney has become more vocal in its support of radical policies, attacking and opposing Florida’s “Parental Rights in Education” bill, which included language protecting young children from homosexual and transgender ideologies in schools. Disney also lobbied for the deceptively titled “Respect for Marriage Act,” federal legislation targeting Christians and Christian organizations that believe marriage is the union of a husband and wife.
And after the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, Disney was one of dozens of companies offering to pay employees to travel to get abortions.
Embracing the sexualization and confusion of children has cost The Walt Disney Company. In 2022, CEO Bob Chapek stepped down and Bob Iger was re-hired for the position, saying he would “work to quiet things down” from the controversies the company had become embroiled in.
In January 2023, the company announced price and policy changes at its resorts, but still underwent a “strategic restructuring and over 7,000 layoffs the next month, working to cut $5.5 billion in costs. The Florida legislature also passed legislation revoking Disney’s corporate, self-governing status and special privileges.
Despite these losses, the corporation seems bent on embracing the false gender ideology that confuses and sexualizes children.
