Sexual identity confusion and the body-mutilating procedures that are used to “treat” this disorder have increased dramatically, as three recent news stories indicate.
Rise in Students Identifying as “Transgender”
The first indication is the rise in K-12 students identifying as the opposite sex, “transgender,” “genderqueer,” “non-binary,” or some other neologism that gender ideologues create to describe themselves.
A recent report from The Washington Stand announced, “Trans-Identifying Students Increase 991% over Two Years in Wealthy DC Suburb.”
The outlet reported that Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), in Maryland, showed a huge uptick in children who filled out MCPS Form 560-80, “Intake Form: Supporting Student Gender Identity,” first introduced in the district in 2019.
The form is filled out and placed on file with the district when a student talks with a school employee about his or her sexual identity confusion and a plan for affirming a new “gender identity” is created.
This may or may not involve discussing the issue with parents, depending on their supposed level of awareness and support – as reported by their child.
MCPS Form 560-80 states:
The school administrator, counselor, or psychologist should complete this form with the student. Parents/guardians may be involved if the student states that they are aware of and supportive of the student’s gender identity. This form should be kept in a secure, confidential location (our emphasis).
So much for parental rights and transparency in education.
The information was released in a tweet by Acting Assistant Principal Elicia Eberhart-Bliss, of Quince Orchard High School, at an MCPS Pride Alliance meeting with students and staff. Eberhart-Bliss lists herself as “MCPS Staff P.R.I.D.E. Group founding member.”
A chart from the tweet shows, from year to year, the number of forms received by the district from students who identify as the opposite sex or as “non-binary” – in contrast with their real sex, either male or female.
During the 2019-2020 school year, 35 K-12 students had forms sent to the district, disclosing their “identified name” and “identified gender.” The next school year, the district received 108 forms. In the 2021-2022 school year, 239 forms were filed. So far this year, 41 forms were received by the district.
The district encompasses 210 schools, and 84 schools have filed forms with the district. Counting only completed school years, the number of students – again, this is kindergartners through twelfth graders – went from 35 to a total of 382, a whopping 991.429% increase.
Remember: This is just one school district, out of more than 13,000 across the nation.
Growth in “Transgender” Surgeries
A second news story that illustrates the surge is from The Federalist, titled, “In The Genital Mutilation Market, Business Is Booming.” The article links to a report from Grand View Research, about growing transgender surgery revenues.
The report notes the rise in young people with sexual identity confusion, the increase in surgeries that attempt to make people look like the opposite sex, and the “improving reimbursement scenario” as Medicaid and insurance conglomerates like Aetna and Unicare provide coverage for surgical procedures.
The gruesome list of surgeries, which remove perfectly healthy body tissue and leave patients disfigured and sterile, include breast or chest surgical procedures, removal of ovaries and fallopian tubes, full hysterectomies, and removal of testicles.
The report explains that while such surgeries declined during COVID-19 lockdowns, “As hospitals and clinics around the U.S. resume nonemergency services, the demand for gender-affirming operations is expected to accelerate in the coming years.”
The market research and consulting company explains:
The U.S. sex reassignment surgery market size was valued at USD 1.9 billion in 2021 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.23% from 2022 to 2030.
At that rate, revenues for these destructive surgeries would rise to $5 billion by 2030.
The report does not include the huge increase in the use of puberty blockers, drugs that suppress the body’s natural hormone production and opposite sex hormones.
There’s big money in all this, as well, which is why Planned Parenthood began dispensing these in 2014 – sometimes to minors without parental consent.
Dramatic Rise in Teens Having Chest Surgeries
More documentation of the surge in body-mutilating “medical” interventions is the increase in teens having “chest surgeries” – girls undergoing mastectomies because they identify as male, while boys having breast implants because they reject their masculinity and think they are female.
A report in JAMA Pediatrics came out in September, “Gender-Affirming Chest Reconstruction Among Transgender and Gender-Diverse Adolescents in the US From 2016 to 2019.”
As reported by MedPage Today, “Numbers of gender-affirming chest surgeries among transgender adolescents jumped 389% from 2016 to 2019, researchers reported.”
The journal said almost all the surgeries were “masculinizing,” with only 1.4% “feminizing.”
Researchers estimated that about 100 surgeries were performed on adolescents and teens in 2016, with about 489 in 2019.
While that number is relatively low, both the JAMA Pediatrics article and the report from Grand View Research indicate that the market for puberty blockers, hormones and surgeries is large – and growing rapidly.
MedPage Today said that the researchers pointed to a report by UCLA’s Williams Institute, an LGBT activist organization which says that more than 300,000 teens between 13 and 17 years old identify as transgender, while almost 400,000 young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 do so.
That’s a lot of young bodies to perform damaging, experimental medical interventions on.
And, as schools, entertainment, the media, social media and corporate America continue to push gender ideology, those numbers will continue to grow.
