Kanye West Embraces God and Calls Out Planned Parenthood for Doing ‘the Devil’s Work’ as Part of Presidential Bid

Kanye West, the infamous and controversial rapper, recently announced his plans to run for President of the United States under the “birthday party.” During an interview with Forbes, he stated his policy positions, including his pro-life stance and his belief that “Planned Parenthood has been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.”

Over the last year or two, West has gone through somewhat of a transformation. He appears to have embraced Christianity, produced a song praising Chick-fil-A’s lemonade, and adopted a more politically conservative outlook.

When asked why the “birthday party,” West said told Forbes, “Because when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday.”

The explanation of how he came to the decision to run for president is unique. He said, “It’s when I was being offered the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Awards at MTV. I remember being at my mom’s house, my mother-in-law, because my house was being worked on, she calls me ‘son’ and I call her ‘mom,’ I was in the shower, thinking, I write raps in the shower. It hit me to say, ‘You’re going to run for president,’ and I started laughing hysterically, I was, like, this is the best, I’m going to go out there and they’re going to think I’m going to do these songs and do this for entertainment, how rigged awards shows are, and then say I’m going to run for president. And I just laughed in the shower, I don’t know for how long, but that’s the moment it hit me.”

Some of his other positions, like foreign policy, are a little unclear, but, when it comes to life, Planned Parenthood, and faith, he’s surprisingly direct.

When asked about abortion, he said, “I am pro-life because I’m following the word of the Bible.”

He also had no qualms about addressing Planned Parenthood’s racist past, “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.”

His comments are similar to those made by a group of former and current Planned Parenthood employees in a recent open letter regarding the alleged abuse by the president and CEO of the Greater New York abortion affiliate. They stated, “Planned Parenthood was founded by a racist, white woman (Sanger).” In a recent article, The Daily Citizen explored Planned Parenthood’s racist and eugenic connection

On his initial reason for supporting President Donald Trump, which he no longer does, he said, “Trump is the closest president we’ve had in years to allowing God to still be part of the conversation.”

Interestingly, he supports instituting prayer in schools. He said, “Reinstate in God’s state, in God’s country, the fear and love of God in all schools and organizations and you chill the fear and love of everything else. So that was a plan by the Devil to have our kids committing suicide at an all-time high by removing God, to have murders in Chicago at an all-time high because the human beings working for the Devil removed God and prayer from the schools. That means more drugs, more murders, more suicide.”

But then, sometimes, his campaign moves in a somewhat unorthodox direction, like saying that his administration would be based on the fictional country of Wakanda from the Marvel comics.

“Like anything I’ve ever done in my life,” West said in an interview with Forbes, “I’m doing to win.”

Some close to West have argued that the rapper and potential presidential contender is having a serious bipolar episode, but could it also be that his continuing and growing embracement of Christianity is bothering some of those closest to him?

That’s unclear, but his desire to include God more in American policies is something that will appeal to certain citizens throughout the country, though the Wakanda idea may be a bit of a hard sell.
