China is experiencing a new COVID-19 outbreak, while the Communist State also continues to block the World Health Organization’s (WHO) investigative efforts into the origin of the pandemic that has seemingly taken over the world.
The latest outbreak in China, the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic, supposedly began after a wedding party, and now millions are already in lockdown, including 17 million people between the large cities of Shijiazhuang and Xingtai. These efforts have even extended to the edge of Beijing, the nation’s capital city, encompassing approximately 22 million people.
There are also images of China building a large quarantine in the center in Hebei Province in the northeastern section of the country. Reports indicate that upwards of 20,000 residents have already been told that they will need to “abandon their homes and move into government-appointed isolation facilities since clusters of cases started to emerge.”
Frustratingly, The New York Times has taken it upon themselves to tout the supposed successes of the Chinese government when it comes to the pandemic. The latest article about the new outbreak says that Chinese authorities “bolted into action” after the new outbreak, implying that the U.S. and others did not.
There’s also an article written earlier this year from The Times praising the Chinese government’s handling of the pandemic and the freedom people have to go to restaurants, hotels and travel, despite having little freedom to do something as basic as practice Christianity or the millions of people locked up in Xinjiang as supposed “terrorists.”
The author wrote, “The pandemic has upended many perceptions, including ideas about freedom. Citizens of China don’t have freedom of speech, freedom of worship or freedom from fear — three of the four freedoms articulated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt — but they have the freedom to move around and lead a normal day-to-day life. In a pandemic year, many of the world’s people would envy this most basic form of freedom.”
Though the freedom to move around is essential, the ability to express your religious faith, without fear of reprisal, is infinitely more important.
Besides, can anyone really trust what the Chinese are saying about the coronavirus? The answer is no.
Recently, the WHO attempted to send a team of scientists to investigate the origins of the pandemic. Of the 13 researchers, two received a supposed positive result from the IgM antibodies test, which is one of the tests that can detect a coronavirus infection. However, the test is known to result in false positives, especially if the patient has COVID antibodies from either the vaccine or as a result of having the coronavirus recently.
The two scientists are currently in Singapore and will be tested once again, while the rest of the team begins their two-week quarantine in China.
This is the second delay for the team, who were initially blocked from entering the country earlier this month.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who has come under fire for not investigating the outbreak earlier and for minimizing China’s culpability, said, “I am very disappointed with this news. I have been in contact with senior Chinese officials and I have once again made clear that the mission is a priority for WHO and the international team.”
Even when the team is all together, they will still be strictly “limited in what they can do as they finish a mandatory two-week quarantine”
Dutch researcher Marion Koopmans is optimistic that “nothing is off limits while in China and said that the team will be working in collaboration with their Chinese colleagues.
That optimism is likely misplaced as China has no desire to shed light on its role in how this pandemic has rocked the world and will instead rely on subterfuge and outright lies to continue to keep the scientists and researchers in the dark about COVID-19.
