Willow Creek Pastor David Dummitt says church’s vision follows Luke 15: Relentlessly pursue the lost

Willow Creek’s Pastor David Dummitt spoke on Willow Creek Community Church’s plans for the future. The church is one of the nation’s biggest megachurches, with a weekly attendance of over 18,000 people. When Willow Creek’s senior pastor Bill Hybels resigned after sexual harassment allegations in 2018, the church went without a senior pastor until Dummitt’s selection in April. After Hybels resigned, the church’s attendance fell by around 7,000 people.
