Now, there’s lots of skeptics out there. And they would say something like, “No, no, you read the New Testament? That’s just all mythological. It’s just—they’re making up stories. It’s kind of like, ‘A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away,’ or, ‘Once upon a time,’ or that kind of thing.”
You know when you hear “once upon a time,” someone’s telling you a story. But that’s not what you get—that’s not what you get when you read the Gospels. In fact, when people say, when people make the claim that the New Testament is just mythology, it’s just a bunch of stories, they’re made up, I take them directly to Luke chapter 3, verses 1 and 2, and here’s why…
